Teacher Education Programme in Visual Arts/

Standing at the front of a classroom giving a presentation is something we’ve all done at one point or another. It’s a moment dreaded by some and enjoyed by others – a real polariser. In my degree project, I investigate visual art students’ opinions about oral presentations. What can we do to include everyone?

As a future art teacher, I think it is important to study this in order to contribute insight to teaching staff. How do the pupils feel about presentations? Should we continue on the oral track or are there new methods that can replace the old ways of presenting?

Att stå längst fram i klassrummet och redovisa har vi alla någon gång gjort, ett moment vissa fasar inför och andra gillar – en riktig vattendelare. I mitt examensarbete undersöker jag vad bildelever tycker om muntliga redovisningar, hur gör man för att inkludera alla?

Som framtida bildlärare tycker jag detta är viktigt att studera för att bidra med insikt till lärarkollegiet. Hur upplever elevsidan redovisningar? Ska vi fortsätta på det muntliga spåret eller finns det nya metoder som kan ersätta de gamla redovisningssätten?
