Thresholds. About thresholds, threshold phenomena, timespace. About how difference can divide and reorganize time and space. About the will to expose and be exposed to a precise state, in a thickened time.

About being direct and distant at the same time. In order to be in a state of tension between here and there, now and then, one and another. About the threshold’s ability to make us present and absent at the same moment.

The threshold offers a magical realism and allows performances to take place between dream and reality. An intangible architecture creates an idea of spatiality, an idea of difference. Notation of rooms that exist without presence. A dreamlogic. A play between perception and imagination. An impossible synchronicity. Two truths that oppose each other.

And the thickening of time. The feeling of now, where the time is true and dissolved. It all starts at a threshold. The threshold as location and transition. The threshold as the opportunity that also carries us away from the place.

Trösklar. Om trösklar, tröskelfenomen, tidrum. Om hur skillnad kan fördela och omorganisera tid och rum. Om att vilja försätta och försättas i ett precist tillstånd, i en förtjockad tid.

Om att vara omedelbar och fjärr på samma gång för att få befinnas i ett tidrumstillstånd av spänningar mellan här och där, nu och då, hit och dit och om tröskelns förmåga att göra oss närvarande och frånvarande i exakt samma stund.

Tröskeln erbjuder en magisk realism och tillåter föreställningar att utspela sig mellan dröm och verklighet. Med en immateriell arkitektur uppstår en idé om en rumslighet, en idé om skillnad. En notation av rum som inte finns där men som finns där ändå. En drömlogik. En lek mellan perception och fantasi. Samtidighetens omöjlighet. Två sanningar som sätter sig emot varandra, samtidigt.

Och förtjockningen av tiden. Känslan av nu där tiden är sann och upplöst. Allt börjar vid en tröskel. Tröskeln som plats och övergång. Tröskeln som den möjlighet som också bär oss bort från platsen.
