Michele Masucci intervjuar Alva Roselius om Soft Shell.
Soft Shell

Cantor’s giant softshell turtle can live for more than a hundred years and spends 95% of its life under sand to hide from the enemy. You think, if one’s shell is soft, one has to hide. You think about the time when you were a child, and so afraid to get hurt that you barely dared to move, and you wonder how many softshell turtles are found by the enemy even though they hide.

Soft Shell is a digitally illustrated sound piece that deals with time and fear – how the two are connected and how they unfold in an era in which normality must be actively constructed to make life tangible.

Soft Shell
