As an observer, one wrestles with nailing down the concrete nature of one’s surroundings. The perspective of the observer is constantly shifting, readjusting and trying to find a constant.
In my paintings, I am trying to find a constant. A movement, a tone, an underlying story in a process that is not always rational.
