In the world of interior design today, we are seeing a yearning for nature, the standard bearer of authenticity that is connected with the aesthetically genuine and good.
This project focuses on the tradition of grain painting, the act of faking a fantasy material such as nobler kinds of wood or marble.
The printed fantasy materials here are created with the help of virtual aesthetics and video game graphical elements that meets the grain and tactility of the wood.
Inom inredningsvärlden syns idag en längtan efter naturen, som får stå som fanbärare för äkthet och förknippas med det estetiskt genuina och goda.
Detta projekt intresserar sig för ådringsmåleriets tradition av att fejka till sig ett fantasimaterial, som ädlare träslag eller marmor.
De tryckta fantasimaterialen är här skapade med hjälp av virtuell estetik och spelgrafiska element som får möta träets ådring och taktilitet.
