Master/CRAFT! Ädellab

This is Poetic Justice, a collaborative practice consisting of Beata Alfredsson Grahn and Klara Brydewall Sandquist. Our aim is to promote two separate feminist agendas, in order to elevate both and underline their entanglement. One is to manifest and justify women’s anger, and the other is to oppose the cult of the individual genius and suggest alternate possibilities in relation to historical corpus in the contemporary field of craft. It is also a way for us to highlight the urgency of supporting, elevating and celebrating each other’s practices and purposes, through a closely intertwined way of working that investigates where objects begin and end, in space as well as in time.

Det här är Poetic Justice, en kollaborativ praktik bestående av Beata Alfredsson Grahn och Klara Brydewall Sandqvist. Vårt mål är att främja två skilda feministiska syften, för att både upphöja dem och understryka hur de hänger ihop. Den ena är att manifestera och rättfärdiga kvinnors ilska och den andra är att sätta sig emot det individuella geniet och föreslå ett alternativt sätt att förhålla sig till corpushistorien genom samtida konsthantverk. Detta är också ett sätt för oss att belysa nödvändigheten i att stötta, lyfta och hylla varandras praktiker och syften, genom ett tätt sammanflätat sätt att arbeta som också undersöker var objekt börjar och slutar, i både tid och rum.
